How old is Calaway Park?
Calaway Park is celebrating its 27th Anniversary of Family fun in 2008! The park opened in 1982 and it was named Calaway Park because it is “away” from “Calgary” hence Calaway Park!

Yes! Come stay a night at the Calaway Park RV and Campground, which is located next door to the park. Enjoy the view of the Canadian Rockies! There are over 104 RV and tenting sites. To view further campground information, click here.

Calaway Park has 30 rides including: Mother Nature’s Thrill Ride- The Storm (NEW IN 2006!), The newly renovated Turnpike Ride – U Drive, Safety School of Motoring, The VORTEX Rollercoaster, Ocean Motion, Chaos, Topsy Turvy, the Log Ride and the interactive Bumper Boats.
What are the most popular rides at Calaway Park?
The most popular rides are the Mother Nature’s Thrill ride- The Storm (NEW IN 2006!), the Rollercoaster (renamed the Vortex in 2005), Shoot the Chutes (log ride), Ocean Motion (swinging boat), Berry Ride, U Drive - Safety School of Motoring (newly renovated Turnpike 2006!) and Chaos!
What else does Calaway Park have besides rides?
Calaway Park is much more than rides! Check out Mulligan’s Island Mini Golf, live trout fishing pond, Haunted Mansion or our soft children’s playgrounds.
