Where is Calaway Park?
Calaway Park is nestled in the foothills of the majestic Canadian Rockies. Located 10 km west of Calgary, Alberta on the Trans Canada Highway #1 at Springbank road. Click here for location map.

How old is Calaway Park? 
Calaway Park is celebrating its 31st Anniversary of Family fun in 2012! The park opened in 1982 and it was named Calaway Park because it is “away” from “Calgary” hence Calaway Park!

Does Calaway Park have overnight accommodations?
Yes! Come stay a night at the Calaway Park RV and Campground, which is located next door to the park. Enjoy the view of the Canadian Rockies! There are over 104 RV and tenting sites. To view further campground information, click here.

How many rides does Calaway Park have?
Calaway Park has 32 rides including: the New Mind Blaster, Mother Natures Thrill Ride- The Storm, The VORTEX Rollercoaster, Ocean Motion, Chaos, Topsy Turvy, the Log Ride and the interactive Bumper Boats.

What are the most popular rides at Calaway Park?
The most popular rides are New Mind Blaster, the Mother Nature’s Thrill ride- The Storm, the Vortex Rollercoaster, Shoot the Chutes (log ride), Ocean Motion (swinging boat), Berry Ride, U Drive - Safety School of Motoring and Chaos!

What else does Calaway Park have besides rides?
Calaway Park is much more than rides! Calaway Park also offers daily live entertainment. Check out Mulligan’s Island Mini Golf, live trout fishing pond, Haunted Mansion or our soft children’s playgrounds.

You can also visit one of our 24 food locations, including Sweet Toothe Candy Shoppe, or you can go shopping for gifts and souvenirs at Hudstones Toys & Gifts. Calaway Park also offers daily live entertainment.

How many people does Calaway Park employ?

What does Calaway Park have for children?
Calaway Park has plenty of rides and attractions for children of all ages! Some of our children’s rides include Swirly Twirl - Swing Ride, The Carousel, Egg Ride, Rocky Mountain Rail, Boulders and the u Drive - Safety School of Motoring!

Can I smoke at Calaway Park?
Smoking is not permitted at Calaway Park except in one designated smoking area (must be at least 18 years of age). Calaway Park is working towards becoming a non-smoking facility.
