Summer Jobs

Admissions
& Retail – Responsibilities include
guest service, cash handling, merchandise displays,
and ticket printing. Must be at least 15 years of
age. Wage starts at $9.50/hr.
Campground
Representative – Responsible for providing
excellent guest service to campground residents,
taking campground reservations over the phone, maintaining
the campground store and acting as a representative
for both Calaway Park and Calgary Attractions. You
must be at least 18 years of age and have your own
transportation to and from the park. Wage starts
at $12.00/hr.
Cash
Control and Revenue Audit- Responsibilities
include daily location audits, float building, float
reconciliations and other administrative duties.
Must be at least 16 years of age. Wage starts at
$12.00/hr.
Department
Captain – Responsible for day to day operation
of assigned locations on park, assisting wherever
necessary and involved with ongoing coaching and
training of employees. Must be at least 16 years
of age. Wage starts at $10.00 - $12.00/hr depending
on position.
Department
Lead – Responsible for the supervision
of 10 - 150 employees, working to ensure the smooth
and efficient operation of the department through
effective employee training, scheduling, recognition,
payroll, department marketing, and team-building.
Ideal for post-secondary students. You must be at
least 18 years of age and have your own transportation
to and from the park. Wage starts at $13.00/hr.
Entertainer
– Perform in our live stage shows. Auditions are
held each January. Click
here for more information. Must be at least
17 years of age. Wage starts at $12.00/hr.
Food and
Beverage – Your responsibilities will include
guest service, preparing various food products and
handling cash. Must be at least 15 years of age.
Wage starts at $9.50/hr. Game Operation – Your responsibilities
will include guest service, displaying prizes in
an attractive and appealing way and handling cash.
Must be at least 15 years of age. Wage starts at
$9.00/hr.
General
Maintenance Worker - Responsible for assisting
maintenance personnel with daily ride and equipment
safety inspections, and preventative maintenance.
You must be at least 18 years of age and have your
own transportation to and from the park. Wage starts
at $12.00/hr.
Grounds
Maintenance– Responsibilities include maintaining
park grounds including watering, weeding, raking,
planting and keeping the park clean and tidy. Must
be at least 15 years of age. Some positions require
employees to be 18+ years of age and have their
own transportation to and from the park. Wage starts
at $9.50 – $12.00/hr depending on position.
Guest Services
Representative – Responsible for providing
excellent guest service to guests on park, resolving
guest concerns, answering telephones, handling cash,
and completing various other office duties. You
must be at least 18 years of age and have your own
transportation to and from the park. Wage starts
at $12.00/hr.
Ride
Operation – You will be responsible for
the safe operation of your ride and for delivering
excellent guest service. Must be at least 15 years
of age. Some positions require employees to be at
least 16 or 17 years of age. Wage starts at $10.00/hr.
Sales &
Catering Representative – Responsible for
corporate and tourism consignment accounts, preparing
letters, tickets, invoices and files, as well as
assisting with tourism marketing programs. You must
be at least 18 years of age and have your own transportation
to and from the park. Wage starts at $13.00/hr.
Security
– Responsible for ensuring safety by maintaining
a presence on park for guests, resolving park incidents
and providing excellent guest service. You must
be at least 18 years of age and have your own transportation
to and from the park. Wage starts at $12.00/hr.
Warehousing
– Responsible for receiving shipments and delivering
supplies to park locations efficiently, and for
ensuring the organization and efficiency of the
warehouse. Must be at least 16 years of age and
have a driver’s license. Wage starts at $10.00/hr.
